SignalKit · Strategy-to-Server build

You describe the rules. We ship the bot.

A work-for-hire engineering engagement: you supply the trading logic, we deliver a production signal bot wired into SignalKit. Backtest, paper-trade, and live deploy all in scope. You keep the source code and the signal output.

Per strategy

$3,000 – $8,000

Complexity-dependent. 50% upfront, 50% on delivery. Typical timeline 2–6 weeks from spec sign-off. Includes integration into your SignalKit deploy (self-hosted or managed).

Important framing

This is engineering, not strategy design. We take a defined edge and turn it into running software. We don't promise to design a profitable strategy for you, and we don't accept briefs of the form “make me money.” A few examples of what makes a viable input:

  • An MT5 / cTrader EA you already trade with that needs a signal-feed wrapper.
  • A Python or Pine prototype with documented entry/exit/risk rules.
  • A written specification: indicator stack, conditions, position sizing, exit logic. Pseudocode is fine.
  • A discretionary system you trade manually that you can describe as deterministic rules.

What you get on delivery

  • Production bot in Node.js, structured like the three reference bots that ship with SignalKit. Configurable per symbol, per timeframe, per risk profile. Standalone process, runs under PM2 / Docker / your VPS of choice.
  • Backtest harness covering 2+ years of historical data on the asset class. Equity-curve plot, summary stats (total R, win rate, max drawdown, R:DD ratio), per-symbol breakdown. Walk-forward optional.
  • Paper-trading phase on live ticks before paid go-live. Default two weeks; adjustable on request.
  • SignalKit integration — performance writes to the same JSONL store the standard bots use, Telegram delivery wired, paid + delayed-free channels split, dashboard widgets active.
  • Source code + handover doc. You own it outright. No license fee on the strategy code itself; the SignalKit platform license is separate.

Process

  1. Week 0: Scoping call. You walk us through the strategy. We come back with a fixed-price quote, a spec doc, and a delivery timeline.
  2. Week 1: Spec sign-off, 50% deposit, repo + project workspace set up.
  3. Week 2–4: Implementation in your repo. Daily commits visible to you; we'll typically push a backtestable build by end of week two for early feedback.
  4. Week 4–5: Backtest report, paper-trading window opens. Adjustments in scope if the live behaviour diverges from spec.
  5. Delivery: Production deploy, Telegram channels wired, dashboard widgets live, 50% balance invoice, 30-day stabilisation window for integration bugs.

What pushes the price up or down

Cheaper ($3k–$5k)

  • Single symbol, single timeframe.
  • Off-the-shelf indicators (RSI, EMA, ICT key levels).
  • You provide a working Python or Pine prototype.
  • Existing broker integration (Deriv, OANDA, IG).

Higher ($5k–$8k)

  • Multi-asset, multi-timeframe correlations.
  • Custom indicator math or proprietary order-flow inputs.
  • Bring-your-own broker requiring a new adapter.
  • Heavy backtesting requirements (5+ years, walk-forward, parameter sweeps).

What's out of scope

  • Strategy design. We don't come up with the edge. If a strategy turns out unprofitable on backtest, that's a strategy problem, not a delivery defect — implementation completes regardless.
  • Auto-execution to subscribers' broker accounts.Signals are published; execution stays manual or on the subscriber's side.
  • Live tuning beyond the 30-day window. Ongoing parameter tweaks become a separate engagement.
